ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we focus on the brain and the components of the nervous system. We also review the evolution of the neuron, which is the basic building block of organisms. Next, we look more closely at the structure of the brain. Finally, we review different networks of the brain and look at the evolution and development of the brain.
