ABSTRACT
Visual processes play an important role in additional cultural processes such as reading and art. We see some images as beautiful, while we see others as awful. At least half of our brain is related directly or indirectly to the processing of visual information including areas involved in the recognition of faces as well as scenes. This chapter focuses on the brain processes involved in experiencing our visual world.
