This chapter brings in the larger virtue categories in which these strengths are grouped and relates them to career paths in music. In this chapter, you will hear from professionals leveraging their strengths to create successful, satisfying lives and livelihoods. You can use this as both an exploratory chapter to generate ideas or as an analytic tool to help with choosing. You will be able to delve into professions and learn which strengths they are fueled by. Paired with that, interviews with music professionals will exemplify how each person specifically uses their unique set of strengths in those professions and paths. You can also “matchmake” your own strength profile to the categorized professions. Designing a career path and life that taps into your top strengths guarantees you will be energized, engaged, and at your best.
