ABSTRACT

Here Trish reviews some of Yalom's work that has had the most profound impact on her work as a therapist, and why she introduced Dan to his work. She includes Yalom's book Every Day Gets a Little Closer: A Twice-Told Therapy, which details Yalom's epistolary collaboration with a client, which ultimately offered the co-authors a model for what has become a long-term collaboration. She explores the broader implications of how those connected in the name of therapy influence one another.
