ABSTRACT

Here Trish reflects on what it was like as a therapist as the writing grew, was published, received professional feedback from colleagues, and navigated professional boundaries, risk and negotiations. The complexity of always putting the client's needs first, and inhabiting the creative collaboration process, was balanced by the efficacy of the work. The chapter explores the creative satisfaction for Trish as she returns to an early love of writing, and the pleasure of blending her skills as a therapist and writer.
