ABSTRACT

Chapter 2 contains an overview of literature with references to the level of knowledge in the field of special pedagogy and early intervention. The description of the system and operation is complemented by a legislative framework. This chapter complements the list of literary references focused on conditions in China. Furthermore, the attention of Tibet is paid in this chapter. This chapter describes dale’s attitude to social adaptation of people with disabilities and support options. The research and development of special education in foreign countries, mainland China and Tibetan areas, especially the research and development of interventions at home and abroad, have been reviewed. Special education intervention is one of the keywords in this study, but it, together with its concept, cannot be found in the relevant literature, and therefore much space is given over to discussing the definition and theoretical and practical research on the closely related early childhood interventions, expecting to seek out some theoretical and methodological basis related to this study, thereby enlightening the research thoughts. This section gives a comprehensive and in-depth review of special education in Tibet, which is directly related to this study and also acts as the basis and main focus thereof.
