ABSTRACT
This chapter explains the way digital work is now central to women's comedy in the US, offering many career benefits, despite its adverse effects. This includes the potential to enable creativity, shape women comedians' critical reputations, and with some limitations, transition to work in traditional mass media. President Donald Trump is also acknowledges as being an important catalyst to the digital empowerment of women comedians.
