ABSTRACT
The musical ideas underlying Urban Rap can be introduced as part of a wider presentation of hip-hop culture, and Urban Rap lends itself well to multisensory work, with the possibility of a different visual scene being shown to illustrate the content of each verse, and items such as bicycle bells and trainers being handed around at the appropriate points.
