ABSTRACT

In this brief final chapter, the author encourages systemic psychotherapists to consider the possibilities inherent in each clinical encounter and to reflect on the kind of future they want to be part of co-creating. The chapter summarizes what is involved in the practice of Socio-Emotional Relationship Therapy and emphasizes the inevitably influential nature of the clinical role. It concludes with seven questions for readers to reflect upon their processes of developing socially responsible, ethical practice that facilitates just, mutually supportive relationships and equity.
