ABSTRACT

Based on imagination, this chapter provides an outlook to areas which could be further explored with regard to epistemic justice, namely education, facing ecological challenges and embodied presence. It makes a plea for a more interdisciplinary approach in education and addresses how aspects that benefit epistemic justice in the planetary also concern our relation to non-human nature, a concern addressed by Kimmerle as well. This outlook suggests different ways of nomadic learning and intends to provide suggestions for further research. Thereby, it demonstrates that the implications of Kimmerle’s philosophy are more radical than elaborated on by himself. If we follow his line of thinking and practice epistemic justice in the planetary, other times and spaces can be imagined.
