ABSTRACT

This chapter is a documentation following different people who have been practicing body neutrality for a significant length of time. The chapter includes anonymous endorsements from clients as well as quotes from authors, celebrities, podcast hosts, etc. who have been positively impacted by practicing body neutrality. The author’s story of body neutrality and how it has enabled her to be a more authentic and joyful version of herself is shared, as well. The first activity in this chapter is to take the body neutrality assessment from Chapter 1 a second time; since readers were encouraged to save the first assessment, they will be able to compare the scores and notice specific items from the assessment that have changed after reading the book and completing the associated assignments. The second activity is a writing activity in which readers reflect on how they have been impacted by learning about and practicing body neutrality throughout the course of reading this book.
