ABSTRACT
This chapter renders Professor Subedi’s assessment of the future of human rights at both the national and international levels. An analysis of the challenges ahead for the international human rights agenda in general, and for the effectiveness of the mechanisms created to protect human rights in particular, is followed by Professor Subedi’s reasoning behind his optimistic outlook on the future of human rights.
