ABSTRACT

Drawing on three theses, this chapter has a twofold aim: first, to capture the value of the analysis on the activism/art presented in previous chapters; and second, to examine theoretical and empirical implications of decolonial queering across the fields of Palestine and Middle East studies, queer and feminist theories, and the politics of decolonisation. The overall goal of this chapter is not simply to conclude but also to pave the way for beginnings to come. The examination of the politics and aesthetics of decolonial queering is a small contribution within the wider community of activists, artists, and scholars who are committed to imagining decolonial queer possibilities and the meanings they bear for the future of the world.
