ABSTRACT
To-day my Young Mistress, when ordering me to take what she had written to Mr. Chang, assumed in my presence an entirely false attitude, while in the poem she actually made a secret assignation with him. As my Young Mistress said nothing to me about it I will not give her away, but will simply ask her to come to burn incense; and I should like to see how she can humbug me when the critical moment arrives.
