ABSTRACT
This chapter places discussion of appropriate responses to issues with digital platform work raised in Chapter 1 within a broader global context by explaining and critically appraising initiatives already under development by the International Labour Organization and steps taken in European and North American jurisdictions to deal with these challenges.
