ABSTRACT
The new edition will focus on how the rise of the authoritarian and populist governments seems to further exacerbate the tragic flaw and has significantly undermined the ability of the institutions of global governance to integrate human rights and the norms of international law in their functions. This chapter will focus on the more severe impacts of the anti-globalization forces on the traditional institutions of global governance and cut back on the discussions of the regional systems of human rights.
