ABSTRACT
As adults, we will do little unless we believe something to be either interesting, relevant to our needs, or just plain fun. So, why would we expect motivation to engage to be anything different with students? In-depth examples focusing on how to engage students by using manipulative art supplies to creatively using class guests can be more motivating for students, as well as address local, state, or federal standards.
