ABSTRACT
The power of the PlayBreak is exemplified in this chapter through a detailed account of a case study involving a teacher and child. The author presents a comprehensive description of a series of PlayBreak sessions conducted by a fifth grade teacher with a distressed student who had engaged in ongoing behavioral problems in the classroom. In this case study, the author offers transcriptions of play session dialogues to help illustrate the reality of the PlayBreak impact.
