ABSTRACT

In this brief concluding chapter, the author addresses the increasing pressures on teachers and research findings that reveal the emotional and professional impact of such pressures. In order to advocate for children, schools are responsible to advocate for teachers and their emotional health. Implementation of PlayBreaks and building a relationally playful school are ways in which teachers can be supported in their work and their wellness. The author emphasizes the need for playfulness in schools as a road to providing joy to the profession of teaching.
