ABSTRACT

This chapter details interviews with working artists. It describes an interview with Seth Barrish. Seth Barrish is an actor, director, writer, professional acting coach, and musician. He regularly appears in film and television and is the author of the book, “An Actor's Companion - Tools for the Working Actor”. The chapter details an interview with Pete Docter. Pete Docter's interest in animation began at the age of eight when he created his first flipbook. He went on to study character animation at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, CA where he produced a variety of short films, one of which won a Student Academy Award. The chapter explains an interview with the Frank Oz. Following in his parents’ puppeteering footsteps, Frank Oz's young talent was noticed by Jim Henson, who persuaded Oz to come work with him and became integral to the development of The Muppets, creating many famous Muppet characters.
