ABSTRACT
Chapter 7 begins by describing accountability regimes that are relevant to third-party governance. These regimes include democratic, legal and market accountability. This is followed by a section describing the critiques, trends and risks. This third section begins with a discussion of some of the major failures and debacles in third-party governance and then moves on to describe several concerning trends for which we need solutions.
