ABSTRACT
A quality that all of the many hundreds of photographers the author had worked with share is this: The Inability To Not Tell Stories With Photographs. Everyone has a unique why that drives their compulsion. For some, it is the need to connect with people and the camera allows that to happen. Others are driven by being able to express themselves through the photographic form. Others feel like they have to say things about life on the planet and the camera is their choice as the mechanism of expression. The only way to achieve and sustain a professional life is to put oneself out there, get out of their comfort zone, test themselves beyond their current limits, constantly. There will be a sense of accomplishment, a self-fulfillment that is unique, each time one achieve a heightened effort.
