ABSTRACT

Director Rob Myles shares his discoveries on adapting the directorial language of theatre for Zoom and how this provides insight into how we might create further work in new mediums. Rob explores the process for evaluating new features, their benefits and costs, and how being informed by values helps to navigate decision-making. The chapter explores developing a shared language for both players and audience, cultivating creative agency, and the practical nuts-and-bolts of directing over distance with only a short amount of time.
