ABSTRACT
The “Introductory remarks” section presents the concept of immersive dictionary and key grammatical points of Swahili that will help the reader a make a productive use of information provided in the body of the dictionary. It makes a quick presentation of the Swahili sound system, the agreement system grounded on noun classes, as well as Swahili verb categories and verb conjugation.
