ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with the notion of microhistory and its role in the process of historical reconstruction. Based on the reduction of the research scale and microscopic analysis of the historical events, microhistorical approach to history may be successfully used to discover and analyze past events, both on a local and on a global level.
