ABSTRACT
This chapter deals with International human rights laws and rights under Criminal Justice System related to sexual minority. The five Muslim States on the commission derailed the resolution and said they would oppose any resolution containing the words ‘sexual orientation.’ Islamic nations, with support from the Vatican and ultra-conservative elements in the United States have consistently opposed the human rights of lesbian and gay people.” Human rights include inter alia the right to life, right to liberty, right to a fair trial by an independent and impartial tribunal, right to privacy, freedom of conscience, freedom of opinion, freedom of assembly and freedom of association, equal access to public services, equality before the law and equal protection of the law, right to work, right to social security including social insurance, right to the enjoyment of the highest attainable level of health, right to education, and right to adequate housing.
