ABSTRACT

This chapter takes a deep dive into the pillar of Being Human and the elements underpinning it: Vulnerability, Curiosity, and Relationship. We explore why being more human in our workplace conversations matters and why it is often so hard to do, particularly when beliefs and assumptions get in the way. We then take the reader through a more detailed explanation of each of the associated elements by providing a description of what they mean before sharing tips and advice on how to deepen our practice in a conversational context.
