ABSTRACT
The epilogue in the twelfth chapter starts with a short résumé, focusing on the overall picture: What do the dynamics of culture and the resulting order of history look like now? The History of Experience has outlined a new picture of human evolution: a dynamic matrix of cultures and political orders resulting from a maximum of nine experiential turns. Finally, the question remains: Was the discovery of the unconscious already the final link in the chain of experience? We have no reasons to think so. Some reflections on future perspectives conclude the epilogue.
