From Implicit Bias to Explicit Belonging

This final main chapter addresses our proposed path to disruption of implicit bias directly, and draws on research from social psychologists Dr. Mahzarin R. Banaji and Dr. Jennifer Eberhardt to do so. Readers solidify ways to build belonging through artistic research, dialogue and deep listening, and gain tools for assessing structures, materials, procedures and systems used in the learning environment in an ongoing and sustainable capacity.
