ABSTRACT
After having considered the various securities laws and sanctions used to manage the trade in securities in previous chapters, this chapter focuses on the topic of corporate governance and corporate governance principles and how this affects securities and listed companies. It discusses the most important corporate governance principles and how, if applied correctly, these could benefit listed companies in the way they are managed. Finally, it considers the different approaches towards corporate governance in the countries of the US, UK, and Kuwait.
