ABSTRACT
The introduction describes the basic regulatory strategies on which Family Law has relied. It also introduces some of the threads that tie Family Law to family life, determine the problems that Family Law confronts, and propel the regulatory strategies that Family Law utilizes. Finally, the chapter briefly outlines the challenges that today’s families – and today’s Family Law – now face.
