ABSTRACT
This chapter shows how the increasing influence of feminist theology contributes to the undermining of patriarchy and to understandings of God that also question existing theologies and their male bias. It shows how this approach sheds light on theologies such as those of Barth and Bonhoeffer. It draws on the contributions ly Lisa Dahill and Daphne Hampson to question the images of God that exist in established academic theology.
