ABSTRACT

This chapter looks at different aspects of evaluation in the context of blended learning. Drawing on what you’ve learned so far in this book, it’ll provide a framework for evaluating the blended learning course or program, as well as weighing the benefits and drawbacks of each option such as various learning styles, establishing essential themes, and ultimately developing your own unique teaching style. The assessment tools for the evaluation of this blended learning strategy are the focus of this chapter. It also gives a brief approach to measure student learning and consideration for student learning outcomes. It further discusses formative and informal assessment, evaluation framework, and various criteria to assess blended learning. It also provides a detailed checklist to evaluate the framework of blended learning and to check on the possibility of the blended learning, and its benefits for the future education system are also discussed.
