ABSTRACT

This chapter presents a case study of the Bayer Active Leadership Program with the EADA Business School partnership, offering a background of the EADA Business School in Spain and its evolution since its establishment in 1957. EADA has a strong reputation as a quality provider of executive education in several areas and at local and national levels. In line with its strategy towards sustainability, it has partnered with multinational pharmaceutical and life science company Bayer in Germany to jointly develop the Bayer Active Leadership Program for the Bayer Iberia market covering Spain and Portugal. The 2020–2023 reskilling plan, “Bayer Active Leadership Program,” covers three phases: leading myself, leading teams, and leading business performance. The authors offer the Bayer–EADA partnership as an excellent example of how future-proof business schools can be part of the coined “reskilling revolution program” if they are willing to assume a new role as aggregators and facilitators of the imperative reskilling/upskilling of the workforce for Fourth Industrial Revolution leaders.
