ABSTRACT
Exams form a passageway on to life beyond schools. So how can we prepare our children for all the exams that they will face? Too often we take it for granted that teaching children content also teaches them effective ways to plan their time and study, yet these are skills that need to be taught. This chapter will consider how we can optimise the success of our learners. We will discuss the best ways to study and look in more detail at ways to support children and offer some ideas on how to motivate children.
