ABSTRACT

The Conclusion connects the history of fitness and bodybuilding with emblematic figures through history. We trace some comparisons between humans’ engagements in fitness practices at those times with the ones we have been experiencing during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. We subtly show that certain behaviors, whether they are “right” or “wrong,” often come back through history, which is commonly forgotten, or purposefully erased, by new generations. We end the book with some important questions that might be answered by future research on fitness, health, and wellness.
