ABSTRACT

This chapter concludes the book and presents the overall ideas discussed in the various chapters, emphasising seeing wellbeing as a journey, not a destination. It encourages students to take control of their wellbeing and to understand that it is only with practice, discipline and effort that wellbeing can be maintained. The chapter concludes with a call to action to embody twenty main takeaways that can be applied to any of the dimensions of wellbeing. These are what I call my pockets of wisdom, those universal ideas that we should all apply to ourselves to live a fulfilling life with wellbeing at the centre.
