ABSTRACT
Travelling from head to foot, Part II provides an in-depth look at a variety of gestures found across East Asia, Southeast Asia, and South Asia, contextualising the gestures using representative examples from Asian films and ethnographic interviews with locals, and presenting cross-Asian perspectives on their forms and meanings. Through this approach, Part II highlights the diversity, complexities, and context-sensitive nature of gestures regionally in Asia.
