ABSTRACT
This chapter will primarily focus on the emerging trends in India pertaining to the development, adoption and diffusion of green technology. The scope of patent law and its viability in the field of green technology diffusion will also be thoroughly examined in this chapter. This chapter will also study the current policy trends in India pertaining to the development of climate change mitigation technologies, environmental protection and sustainable development. This chapter, in a way, is the crux of this research, as the special reference point was India.
