ABSTRACT

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are digital tokens that represent unique assets on a blockchain.

This chapter explores the concept of non-fungibility at the heart of the Non-Fungible Token (NFTs) concept. It then illustrates NFTs using the most common type of NFT in recent years, the 10,000 Profile Picture (PFP) collection built on the ERC-721 smart contract template, before touching on marketplaces and intellectual property.
