ABSTRACT
This chapter outlines models for both small and large-scale digital integrations in elementary education and provides forward thinking about how to bring together multiple applications and projects to form a unique, joyful spin on the traditional classroom that excites children by providing deep learning opportunities and increased agency. This chapter discusses:
concrete applications and methods for working digitally in the classroom
how a blended model of working back and forth between physical materials and digital applications can lead to enhanced learning opportunities
showcasing student learning through digital portfolios and presentations
large-scale models for how networked classrooms can seamlessly work together in digital spaces
