ABSTRACT
In this chapter, I address the question of what the previous chapters mean for the place of expertise in society, and how the combined forces of citizen power and AI affect the democratic and technocratic tendencies. The populist challenge is relevant in this context, as is the question of how to understand it, based on the framework presented in this book.
