ABSTRACT
This chapter defends the notion of objectivity against the leading five arguments against it, the argument from origins, the argument from the fact of our differences, the argument from the inevitability of differences, the naivety objection, and the argument from personhood. Some conceptual clarifications are offered as the argument develops, for example, the distinction between objectivity and neutrality.
