ABSTRACT
The arrival of Maundy Gregory in Wormwood Scrubs caused quite a sensation, as his trial and conviction had been well featured in the newspapers. We were all agog to see the gentleman who was reputed to have made such a profitable business out of the sale of honours, and after a day or two in the Shed he was posted to the library, together with a young ex-Army officer, who had been convicted for dangerous driving.
