ABSTRACT
Chapter 7 considers life post thesis, a point of transition where many thesis writers are left wondering about what comes next. It is an important milestone where the thesis writer should stop and celebrate, recognize individual achievement, and acknowledge the support of the many individuals who have helped bring the thesis to fruition. This final chapter of this book considers the emotions that emerge once the thesis has been submitted and the need to move on to perform other identities post-thesis. These include personal identities in the home, professional identities in the workplace as well as the emerging identities of the new graduate and post-thesis researcher. The chapter also provides hints about publishing the thesis and warnings about thesis scammers. The chapter ends with considerations for addressing examiners reports.
