ABSTRACT

Physical distribution of vinyl records is the process of receiving records from the manufacturing plant and getting them into the hands of consumers. It highlights the importance of efficient and effective physical distribution in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products and the history of this process. The packaged records shipped from the manufacturing plant to distribution warehouses are sorted and stored until they are sold to retailers or direct to consumers. Distribution warehouses play a crucial role in the distribution process, as they serve as a central hub for the storage and distribution of records. Records from the warehouses are sent to retail stores and sometimes to consumers through direct shipments or a network of wholesalers and distributors. Once at the retail stores and displayed on shelves and bins, they are available for purchase by customers.
