ABSTRACT
Dealing with the whole topic of screen acting, the chapter rejects any one solution and advocates “whatever works”. Acting through the ages has always used technique, and the modern necessity of being a good technician, of working well with digital images, and being versatile in using different approaches is discussed. The famous meal scene between Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in Heat is analysed in detail.
