ABSTRACT

Building on the questions that came up throughout Section Two, Section Three invites readers to continue questioning the systems in which arts organizations and productions operate. The authors demand that the American Theatre change radically, and they explore the following themes for this radical change: applying a universal design lens to theatre production operations; disrupting the norms of professional training in the field and reimagining how production workers develop their craft; sharing the proverbial wealth instead of hoarding it; and disrupting the way American theatre is funded.
