ABSTRACT

The presented results of the research show the peculiarities of the development of the emotional sphere of children 4–6 years old, who grow up in full or single-parent families, orphanages and kindergartens. There are certainly both positive and negative trends in various manifestations of the emotional sphere, taking into account age and educational conditions. At the same time, no significant differences between children of different sexes were found. It was shown that with the deterioration of educational conditions in each age group among children, there are undesirable manifestations of anxiety, aggression, emotional stability, frustration and other characteristics.

At the same time, there are statistically proven differences in such indicators between children who were brought up in conditions within and outside family. It has been established that the leading factor in the structure of mechanisms of emotional growth is general emotionality. The nature of the development of the emotional sphere has its own specifics with changes in both age and conditions of upbringing. Such indicators of peculiarities in the development of the emotional sphere of children as emotional and cognitive orientation, self-regulation, emotional ambivalence, aggressiveness, emotional sensitivity and others are also important. A purpose-oriented system of prevention and reduction of emotionally negative manifestations in preschool children for future psychologists has been developed and tested. The testing of the latter showed positive results in changes of children’s emotional characteristics.

These studies will be of interest to psychologists, scientists, social pedagogues, teachers, and graduate and undergraduate students.
