ABSTRACT

This chapter will outline imaginative possibilities for postdigital learning in higher education, but it will also suggest that there are a number of barriers to be overcome and that our hope for the future is in scallywag pedagogy. It begins by presenting different forms of postdigital learning, such as teaching in a shack and valuing care, which illustrate how neoliberal values in the academy might be challenged. The chapter concludes by suggesting that scallywag pedagogy offers hope for the future.
